Coronavirus response funding for Surrey voluntary organisations
01 April 2020
Do you know of a charity or voluntary organisation providing support to the most vulnerable and isolated in the current Coronavirus pandemic?
Funding is available to those helping to ease the immediate difficulties communities are facing or to those planning to support recovery over the coming weeks and months. Grants of up to £5,000 can be awarded through Community Foundation for Surrey and priority will be given to:
* Older people.
* Those with disabilities or mental health issues.
* People on low incomes and families with young children.
For full details on eligibility or to apply for funding are on Community Foundation for Surrey’s website via www.cfsurrey.org.uk/surreycoronavirusresponsefund.
Are you able to donate to the fund?
A new local response fund has been launched thanks to the generosity of local donors. More supporters are always needed and any donations are gratefully received via Virgin Money Giving at www.uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity-web/charity/displayCharityCampaignPage.action?charityCampaignUrl=surreycoronavirusfund.
